BHARAT KAPADIA has resigned from his position as vice president of the Media Research Users Council in India. He will be replaced by HORMUSJI CAMA, director of newspaper the Bombay Samachar.

Volante Research in the UK has appointed EULALIA PEREIRA as research manager. She has spent 10 years working in market research, including a spell as insight manager at Mediaedge:CIA.

MTI Information Technologies has named BRIAN TVENSTRUP as senior vice president of business analytics. He joins the firm after working as head of analytics at First Equity Card Corporation.

CHRISTOPHER PANETTA has joined Widmeyer Communications’ research and polling unit in the US as senior analyst. He was previously senior analyst at Lake Research Partners.

RSM in the UK has appointed SIMON GLANVILLE as director of business development. He joins from outsourcing firm Ugam where he was managing director for Europe.

JOSEPH FRITZ has joined management consultancy Lucintel as vice president of research and operations, where he will be responsible for managing the production of market reports. He has previously held research roles at General Electric and Alcoa Howmet.

Research agency Echo has appointed BJORN EDLUND as senior advisor, PENNY ORPWOOD as client services director and KELLY SIRIMOGLU as sector manager. Orpwood returns to the firm after a spell with Legal & General while Edlund was previously VP of communications at Royal Dutch Shell. Sirimoglu joins from TNS where she was an account director and VP.

US MR agency KL Communications has hired STACI SANSOLO and TIM DAVISSON as community coordinators. Both have been working in the marketing industry before joining the company, KL Communications said.

InSites Consulting has appointed BARBARA NIEWENHUIJS as business director.

US market research and analytics agency In4mation Insights has hired STEWART HU as senior director of marketing science, SANDEEP CONOOR as director of marketing science, SHIVAKAR VULLI as director of information engineering, RAJIV KAKARLAPUDI as senior analyst for information engineering and KONSTANTIN GALPERIN as marketing science analyst.
