The latest appointments and promotions in the global market research industry, including the latest from eDigitalResearch, Innerscope, Australia Online Research and more.

GERALLT EVANS-HUGHES has been appointed head of business development for public sector work at eDigitalResearch in the UK. He has previously worked on the agencyside with Mott MacDonald and BMG Research, and has experience working in the public sector as an education adviser to local councils.

US biometrics and eye-tracking firm Innerscope Research has hired LISA HAVERTY and RANDALL RULE as scientists. Haverty previously ran her own firm, Brain on Brand Consulting, and Rule was in the research and development department at Posit Science.

Australia Online Research has named DIMITRIOS CASDAS as its new operations director. Casdas joins the firm from online fieldwork agency the Online Research Unit (ORU) where he held a similar role and will be reunited with AOR CEO Brian Fine, who founded AMR Interactive, which went on to become The ORU.

JEANNEE HOPPE has been appointed senior director of market management and product innovation at US insurance group Allianz Life, where she will oversee the firm’s market research and market strategy programmes. Hoppe joins from Ameriprise Financial where she led the strategic sourcing department.

Citadel Broadcasting in the US has appointed JEFF DAVIDSON as director of media strategy where he will oversee all the radio company’s research activities. Davidson was most recently national PPM account manager at Arbitron.

US marketing strategy agency Zion & Zion has hired CHARLES CLARKSON to oversee its social media monitoring and ROI assessment activities. Clarkson joins from the National Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce where he worked in a public relations role.
