People on the move

The latest appointments and promotions from the global marketing research industry, including Australia Online Research, Kadence International and Gongos Research.

Australia Online Research has appointed Julie Barnwell as research executive. She will be responsible for managing key clients and leading the firm’s mystery shopping activities. She joins from Hoed Mystery Shopping where she held a senior account management role.

Michelle Madansky has joined Marketing Management Analytics in the US as senior digital advisor. She was formerly vice president of customer insights at Yahoo! and will be responsible for ensuring that the firm incorporates the latest digital thinking and research into its analytics models.

Healthcare research agency Double Helix has appointed Amanda Siebols as research consultant and Ioanna Maraki as research executive. Siebols is rejoining the UK firm after an extended maternity leave and Maraki was previously at Gentactis.

UK healthcare charity Nuffield Health has appointed former freelance research consultant Paul Sutton to manage delivery of research and insights across its hospital, fitness and clinical services businesses.

Emily Kettle has been promoted to board director at Facts International in the UK. She joined the firm in 2007 as client services director after spending four years with Synovate.

Kadence International in the UK has appointed Gerallt Evans-Hughes as an account director in the public and social research team. He has worked for agencies BMG Research, Lorien Research and Mott MacDonald and served a number of local authorities as a senior education advisor.

Greg Heist has been named vice president of research innovation and technology at Gongos Research in the US. He has been with the firm since 2003.
