People on the move

The latest appointments and promotions in global market research and consumer insight industry. This week: Ipsos, Comscore, Opinion Leader, Purdie Pascoe, Biz360, Ace Metrix and GMI.

DAVID RICHARDSON has been appointed regional managing director for North East Asia at Ipsos. He joins from TNS, where he was most recently regional director for North Asia and Greater China.

ComScore’s executive vice president for human capital, JOHN GREEN, has tendered his resignation and will leave the firm on or before 28 February 2010.

TINA CHRISTISON has joined Carlson Marketing in the UK as head of decision science. She joins from OgilvyOne, where she was senior director of marketing analytics.

UK healthcare research agency Purdie Pascoe has hired BRONWYN HEATH as senior research executive. She joins from Synovate Healthcare where she specialised in medical devices and technology.

SCOTT RAMSAY has been appointed as research director at Opinion Leader in the UK. He joins from qual agency Firefish. The firm has also appointed EMMA IMISON, formerly of Aequus Research as senior research executive.

US online buzz tracker Biz360 has hired PUNEET ARORA as chief sales officer. Arora was previously vice president of corporate sales at CRM technology firm Salesforce.com.

GREG DREW has joined the board of online analytics agency Ace Metrix in the US as an independent director. He currently serves as CEO and president of fleet safety firm SmartDrive Systems.

Online research agency Global Market Insite (GMI) has appointed SASHA SHIRANGI as a senior account executive in its German office. He joins the firm from Trend Research, where he spent six years.

DAN LYNN has been promoted to managing director for Asia Pacific at online travel firm Expedia. His past roles at the company include director of strategy and customer insight and vice president of search engine marketing.
