The latest appointments and promotions in the global market research industry

Skopos has hired ANDY GALLACHER as head of insight consulting in the UK. He joins from Opinion Matters, an online research agency where he was director of client services. Prior to that, Gallacher held a variety of sales and advertising management roles within publisher Haymarket.

Online panel firm Lightspeed has appointed TARIQ QURESHI and ABBY KIANI as research executives in its London office, while CLARE HOOD has been promoted to client operations manager.

Phoenix Marketing International has named former TNS Healthcare senior vice president DAVID LUERY as head of its international healthcare division. Luery has been tasked with building up the practice, which was formed earlier this year following Phoenix’s acquisition of JZM Research in the US.

New York ad agency The Bravo Group has hired JAIME KALFUS as chief insights officer, responsible for the overall development of strategic and account planning functions. She was previously associate director of brand planning at Deutsch.

MarketingSherpa – a publisher of benchmark guides and case studies of marketing best practice – has hired former Ogilvy Neo research manager TIM McATEE as a senior analyst.

US survey software firm DatStat has appointed TOM CLAEYS as vice president of sales and marketing, and CHRISTOPHER MACONI as vice president of engineering.

WhatTheyThink – a news and data provider serving the US publishing industry – has appointed VINCENT NASELLI to head its new consulting division, which offers custom research and advisory services.

Travel industry-focused ad agency Ypartnership, based in Florida, has appointed GREGORY DUNN as director of insights.
