US— Peanut Labs has launched a new panel of more than 194,000 gamers recruited through social media sites such as Facebook and MySpace.
The panel, which is called Social Media Gamers, will offer researchers the chance to gather data on how long gamers spend playing, what percentage of games are played online on social media sites and what consoles they are planning to buy.
Members are profiled by retail preferences, preferred game genres, console ownership and frequency of play, as well as standard demographics.
Peanut Labs said that it is planning to launch the panel in 18 other countries during the first quarter of 2010 after positive feedback from clients in the US.
