US— Online sample supplier uSamp has received $10m in Series C funding, led by private equity investor OpenView Venture Partners.
The firm said that the cash will be used to fuel company growth through acquisition and to develop its next-generation panel management platform.
Cash will also be used to enhance the firm’s social media technology offering and expand global operations, uSamp said.
Matt Dusig, the firm’s founder and CEO, said: “uSamp is guided by a vision for the future of online panels for market research and this funding round from OpenView moves us even closer to realising that vision.”
The last round of funding, which totalled $3m, was awarded in January 2009 by investment houses DJF Frontier and Greycroft Partners.
