OTX promotes Bruzzese to head of Motion Picture Group

US— OTX has promoted Vincent Bruzzese to lead its Motion Picture Group in the US following the departure of president Kevin Goetz.

Bruzzese joined the firm in 2001 and was “instrumental” in replacing mall intercepts with online interviews in movie research, according to a company statement.

The Motion Picture Group’s international arm will continue to be led by UK-based Ian Wright, who joined the firm in 2006 and oversaw the launch of OTX Europe.

Former president Kevin Goetz stepped down last week to launch a new company, Screen Engine, which will carry out research services for movie studios.

The firm is planning to expand its services following the management reshuffle and has promised “an infusion of innovative technology to service the film industry”.

CEO Shelley Zalis said: “We’re going to grow, and we’re going to create new tools and ways to reach and understand the global-entertainment orientated consumer today. We need visionary thinkers that are passionate about change and ready to lead the transformation.”
