US – Opinium Research is the winner of the Women in Research (WIRe) best place to work award for 2019.
The judges said Opinium stood out for its "emphasis on schedule flexibility" and a "fair and supportive corporate culture".
Breaking Blue was named runner-up of the award.
The award was launched in 2018 by WIRe, Logica and Keen as Mustard Marketing to celebrate companies in the market research industry who put their employees at the centre of what they do. Last year’s winner was Greenberg Strategy.
The award was judged by P2Sample’s JD Deitch, Marion Elliott of Market Cube, LinkedIn’s Christina Jenkins, and Elisabeth Bucknall, C Space.
Kristin Luck, founder, WIRe, said: "We had many outstanding submissions, with companies throughout our industry excelling at the criteria set forth by the award — most notably our two top honorees, Opinium and Breaking Blue.
"Opinium’s focus on attracting, retaining, and investing in employees is best witnessed by its shared employee equity model and emphasis on intentional, sustainable growth. I’m hopeful that the policies and programmes it is employing today will be standard in our industry in years to come."
