NRS appoints research manager

UK — The National Readership Survey (NRS) has recruited David Hart as research manager.

Hart joins the NRS from publisher IPC where he worked in the Insight Team for consumer titles as a senior executive.

Meanwhile, Dennis Publishing’s managing director Julian Lloyd Evans joins the board and will represent the Professional Publishing Association. Lloyd Evans replaces Jackie Newcombe who is stepping down after four years.

In its monthly update on readership figures, NRS chief executive Mike Ironside wrote: “I would like to take this opportunity of thanking Jackie Newcombe for her fantastic contribution over the last 4 years. Without her involvement, life would have been far more difficult.”
