THE NETHERLANDS/NORWAY – Data collection company Norstat Netherlands, part of Norstat Group, has appointed Kjell Massen as head of quantitative and business development, effective from 1st April.

Massen’s background includes agency experience in quantitative and qualitative research at Ruigrok Netpanel, Haystack Consulting and InSites Consulting, across sectors including FMCG, government and technology.

At Norstat, Massen (pictured, left) will lead and expand the company’s quantitative business unit in the Netherlands.

Through the appointment, Norstat aims to strengthen its position in the research market in the country.

Oslo-headquartered Norstat entered the Dutch market and launched Norstat Netherlands through the acquisitions and merger of Respondenten.nl and CG Research in 2021.

The merger established Norstat Netherlands in qualitative recruitment, and it is now building on Norstat Group’s capabilities to grow the quantitative business.

Yvette Huitema, managing director, Norstat Netherlands (pictured, right), said: “With Kjell on board, we are confident that our clients will benefit from his extensive expertise in quantitative and qualitative research methods and his ability to translate clients’ needs into our local offering. This will ensure our clients will get actionable insights that drive business outcome.”
