US— Neuromarketing agency NeuroFocus has appointed Nobel Prize laureate Eric Kandel to its advisory board.
Kandel (pictured) won the Nobel Prize for medicine or physiology for his contributions to the field of neuroscience, specifically his research on memory storage.
He is currently professor of physiology and cell biophysics, psychiatry, biochemistry and molecular biophysics at Columbia University and was the founding director of the University’s Center for Neurobiology and Behavior.
NeuroFocus CEO AK Pradeep said: “NeuroFocus is greatly honoured by Dr Kandel’s presence on our advisory board, and we and our clients look forward to benefiting from his unsurpassed knowledge in the neuroscience field.”
