Nobel Prize winner joins NeuroFocus advisory board
Kandel (pictured) won the Nobel Prize for medicine or physiology for his contributions to the field of neuroscience, specifically his research on memory storage.
He is currently professor of physiology and cell biophysics, psychiatry, biochemistry and molecular biophysics at Columbia University and was the founding director of the University’s Center for Neurobiology and Behavior.
