Nielsen sues ComScore over online measurement patents
In a complaint filed in a Virginia district court, Nielsen listed a host of ComScore products that allegedly infringe on its patents, including its Media Metrix 360, AdEffx ad effectiveness measurement suite, and a selection of its mobile and Video Metrix products.
The patents in question are for:
• A computer use meter and analyzer
• Metering of internet content using a control
• Network resource monitoring and measurement system and method
• Content display monitoring by a processing system
• A content display monitor
Nielsen is seeking an injunction against future infringement and damages.
