Univision and UniMás Networks, as well as local affiliate stations, will receive audience estimates of linear television content viewing on mobile and computer devices. The audience contributions from the digital devices will be included in the TV ratings.

It makes them the first Spanish-language broadcast networks to include Nielsen’s digital audience measurement in their TV ratings.

Digital in TV Ratings measurement is a component of Nielsen’s Total Audience, which provides comparable metrics across all linear and digital platforms.

In addition, Nielsen announced that Lauren Zalaznick was joining as an independent director to its board. She has held senior leadership roles with top media companies, including Comcast NBCUniversal and Viacom, most recently serving as executive vice-president at Comcast NBCUniversal.
