News North America People

US — Nielsen has reshuffled its senior management, with finance chief Brian West (pictured) becoming chief operating officer and Jamere Jackson joining the company as CFO.

The pair take up their new roles on 10 March. West joined Nielsen as CFO in 2007, having previously spent 16 years working for General Electric. Jackson is also a former General Electric executive, and has held financial, controller and planning roles with several of Nielsen’s largest clients, including PepsiCo and Procter & Gamble.

West succeeds Mitchell Habib as COO. Habib is moving “to the next phase of his career after a transition period, building on his long track record of accomplishments at Nielsen”, according to a statement.

The reshuffle follows the appointment of new Nielsen CEO Mitch Barns, who took up the role on 1 January.
