New regional leaders for GfK Health

US – GfK’s global health practice has appointed new leaders for its teams in North America and Germany/Switzerland.

Pankaj Thapar (pictured) will lead North America, having previously held leadership roles at QuintilesIMS and ZS Associates. He will be based on the West Coast, in GfK’s Bay Area offices in San Francisco and Sunnyvale, CA.  

Jan Güse takes over in the Germany/Switzerland region. He was most recently responsible for data analytics and innovation across industry sectors in the Netherlands and has been at GfK for the past 10 years. Before joining, Güse held a variety of sales and marketing roles at large pharmaceutical companies.

Justin Edge, GfK’s global head of health, said: “Our healthcare clients are demanding fresh approaches to research and insights to match their changing commercial models. Pankaj and Jan will bring a passion for excellence and fresh thinking to our clients. Both have proven themselves to be highly effective client advisers and business leaders.”
