INDIA— Vivek Malhotra has been appointed head of research and marketing at TV Today Network, where he will be responsible for developing the broadcaster’s brand and communications strategy.
Malhotra, who will report to CEO Joy Chakraborty, was previously head of marketing at Big FM and before that served as SVP of marketing, PR and research at Bloomberg UTV. Earlier in his career he headed the trade engagement and research unit at Star News Network.
Chakraborty said Malhotra’s “complementary understanding of research and communication should help us create a superlative viewer and advertiser experience”.
