New Google Analytics API brings content experiments

US — Google has launched an API for its analytics platform that allows website owners to run content experiments – essentially making Google Analytics “a full-blown A/B testing platform”.

Analytics product manager Russell Ketchum explained how users can employ Google’s “multi-armed bandit approach” to determine which site assets perform best in offering “an improved experience for users”.
