US— Thomas Finkle and David Krajicek have been promoted to co-presidents of GfK Custom Research North America, effective January 2011.
GfK said that in their new roles the two men would be responsible for providing strategic leadership and “establishing and achieving” the firm’s vision, strategy, policy, business objectives and financial goals. They will also be responsible for the day-to-day management of the company.
Finkle joined the firm in 2005 and currently serves as chief client services officer. In his new role as co-president he will be responsible for the firm’s infrastructure groups, as well as its marketing sciences, marketing and business innovation functions.
Krajicek’s most recent role at the company was managing director of GfK Business and Technology, a role he was promoted to in 2009. His new responsibilities see him take charge of all the client servicing groups at GfK, covering its sectors and practice areas.
The duo will report to Debra Pruent, a member of the management board at GfK SE. She said: “Thomas and David are both talented, knowledgeable leaders with incredible capability, integrity and drive. Their backgrounds, which include proven expertise in research, operations, client service and management, will be invaluable as we continue to grow our business and maximise our profitability.”
