New commercial chief at NIQ

US – Consumer intelligence company NIQ (NielsenIQ) has appointed Steen Lomholt-Thomsen as chief commercial officer, based in the company’s office in Geneva, Switzerland.

Lomholt-Thomsen has previously held leadership roles in companies including IBM, HP, and IHS (now S&P Global). Prior to NIQ, he was chief executive at cybersecurity firm BullWall.

At NIQ, he will focus on bolstering client strategy and global growth as the company expands its offer around consumer shopping behaviour.

Tracey Massey, NIQ’s chief operating officer, said: “Steen is a proven leader with a track record of success across industries. His experience in operational excellence and building client relationships makes him a perfect fit to advance our strategic goals.” 

NIQ is headquartered in New York and operates in around 90 countries globally. The company merged with GfK in 2023.
