UK – Channel 4 has appointed interim chief marketing officer Katie Jackson to the role on a permanent basis, with immediate effect.
Jackson (pictured) will lead marketing and brand strategy across Channel 4, with oversight of the channel’s content brands.
She will report to chief executive Alex Mahon and be part of the executive team.
Mahon said: “Katie is an outstanding and passionate creative leader who has already made an indelible mark at Channel 4. I am excited about the impact she will have across our business, our leadership and with our audiences to elevate the Channel 4 brand.”
Jackson joined Channel 4 as managing director of the organisation’s in-house agency, 4creative, before becoming interim chief marketing officer in March this year.
Prior to Channel 4, she was chief operating officer at TBWA\London and joint head of account leadership at Grey London.
