US – Artificial intelligence (AI) customer service platform Netomi has secured $30m in a Series B funding round led by investment firm WndrCo.
The funding brings the total raised by Netomi to $52m, and the latest funding round included existing investors Eldridge and Fin Venture Capital.
Netomi is planning to use the funding to grow the business, expand its workforce and serve customers in new categories and locations.
Netomi is based in California, US, and focuses on handling consumer questions across multiple communication channels using AI.
Puneet Mehta, founder and chief executive at Netomi, said: “Customer service is going through a crisis – it’s expensive for businesses, frustrating for customers and inconvenient for everyone.
“This situation is only exacerbated post-pandemic due to labour shortages and the global supply chain slowdown. Customer care teams have more support tickets than ever before and fewer people to solve them.”
