UK— Customer satisfaction and mystery shopping agency Grass Roots has merged its learning and measurement teams and added a new commercial relations director.
Jamie Thorpe (pictured) has been promoted from group project director to become head of commercial relations and operations and will be responsible for sales and marketing across the merged group as well as developing key accounts.
Thorpe will be supported by Matt Rouse, who has re-joined the firm after an absence of two years to step into the newly created role of commercial relations director.
Elsewhere in the team, operations director Niamh Power becomes head of operations and will be responsible for mystery shopping and telephone research activities. Former head of learning services Vicky Edwards becomes head of client management and Trevor Martin has been promoted to research director within her team.
Thorpe said: “This move brings the obvious and natural connection between measurement and learning closer together, enabling us to offer clients a more compelling, integrated approach. We have a really strong team and I know clients will benefit from our combined expertise, whether it’s from mystery shopping, customer satisfaction surveys or educational and employee engagement programmes.”
