MRS opens nominations for new Sir Bob Worcester award

Sir Bob Worcester was the founder and chair of Market and Opinion Research International (MORI), later acquired by Ipsos. He passed away in 2025.
The new award recognises his influential contributions to market and social research and political polling.
The award will be presented to an individual demonstrating a sustained and measurable impact on policy, practice or societal outcomes within the fields of social, political or economic research.
MRS is seeking nominations of individuals to be considered for the award. Submissions must provide evidence of influence that extends beyond immediate outputs.
The winner of the award will be announced at the MRS Excellence Awards in June.
- To nominate an individual, email research.awards@mrs.org.uk by EOP on Monday 13th April with a brief supporting paragraph ( 350-500 words). More information can be found on the MRS website.
