US – Data intelligence company Morning Consult has appointed Taylor Ashy as senior vice-president, SaaS (software-as-a-service) solutions and promoted Brian James to senior vice-president, custom solutions.
James (pictured) joined Morning Consult in 2021 from Maru/Matchbox, where he was co-chief executive officer and chief client officer. For the last two years, he has been vice-president of client services.
In his new role, he will lead Morning Consult’s custom and consultative solutions, working with clients to build bespoke solutions. He is based in Chicago.
Based in New York, Ashy will lead Morning Consult’s market strategy for products including its brand intelligence platform. He was previously vice-president of global enterprise sales at Dataminr.
Jessica Schneider, chief commercial officer at Morning Consult, said: “Leveraging Ashy and James’ unmatched experience in the industry, I’m more confident than ever in our ability to deliver innovative global solutions and real-time intelligence to leaders in industry, government, and elsewhere.”
Established in 2014, Morning Consult offers brand tracking, an economic intelligence tool that offers data on consumer confidence, and political polling.
The appointments follow Morning Consult’s launch, in September, of an on-demand platform offering custom audience profiles, based on demographics, psychographics and user habits.
