Financials North America

US— Validas, a developer of mobile intelligence technology, has received an undisclosed strategic investment from private equity group Huntsman Gay Global Capital.

The firm’s VERA platform analyses mobile billing data to help users spot trends and compare patterns and ultimately change customer behaviour.

Validas CEO and co-founder Tom Pepe said: “This partnership allows us to increase Validas’ rate of growth in the marketplace.”

As well as the financial investment, Ronald Garriques is joining the Validas board as chairman. He currently serves as chairman and CEO of Gee Holdings, a Huntsman Gay portfolio company that focuses on wireless technology and consumer electronics.
