Mission Translate adds two to board

UK – Translation services company Mission Translate has appointed Alex Batchelor and Danny Russell as non-executive board members.

Batchelor is non-executive chair at consumer insight agency Watch Me Think and an advisor to private equity and venture capital funds.

Russell runs a strategic consultancy and is a non-executive director at Hall & Partners and Further.

Founded in 2015, Mission Translate offers translation software, audio and video translation, content analysis, recruitment and social listening. The Birmingham-based company is planning to expand its services in the US and Asia-Pacific.

Hayder Al-Ani, chief executive and founder, said: "Recognising the depth of experience and expertise Alex and Danny bring in the research and marketing sectors, as well as their experience managing global enterprises, we knew that they would be perfectly positioned to help spearhead our global growth plans. Appointing them to the board is an exciting next step in Mission Translate’s progression."
