US— Millward Brown has appointed Daren Poole, previously chief client officer in Australia, as global brand director for its Link ad testing tool.
The appointment is the fourth of five new global brand director positions to be announced at the agency.
Poole, who will continue to be based at Millward Brown’s Sydney office, said: “This is an exciting time with new products and channels emerging all the time, changing the landscape of advertising. TV advertising remains at the heart of this, but with new devices such as tablets, the improved capabilities of mobile devices, and social media, it’s even more important that brands ensure they have strong and effective advertising so that they stand out from the crowd.”
Reporting in his new role to Sue Elms, EVP of global brands, Poole will be working with clients and colleagues across the business, Millward Brown said.
