US – Customer experience management firm Merkle has appointed two presidents for its Americas and Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) divisions.
Margaret Wagner (pictured) has been promoted to president of Merkle EMEA and also leader of its Dentsu customer experience management brand in the region.
Before her promotion, Wagner was chief growth officer in the EMEA division for three years, focusing on sales, marketing and platforms.
Wagner worked for Wunderman and was chief marketing officer at RAPP prior to joining Merkle.
Michael Komasinski has also been moved up to president of Merkle Americas and leader of Dentsu in the same region, and will relocate from London to New York.
Komasinski was previously president of Merkle EMEA and Dentsu EMEA, and previously ran the company’s US digital agency business.
Before joining Merkle, Komasinski was chief operating officer at Razorfish and president at Schawk Retail Marketing.
Both appointments will come into effect on 1st January 2021.
Craig Dempster, global chief executive at Merkle, said: “Michael and Margaret have exemplified strong leadership for our company, overseeing tremendous expansion within the EMEA region. I have no doubt that they will continue to lead their respective regions with this same drive and innovation.”
