Merkle appoints customer and analytics lead
Beresford-Jones will take over responsibility for the integration of Merkle’s digital and customer analytics capabilities, which was brought together at the end of 2019 in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.
Before taking up his new responsibilities, Beresford-Jones was chief executive of Edinburgh-based Aquila Insight, which was bought by Merkle in 2017 and rebranded to Merkle Aquila. He had led Aquila since 2012.
Merkle was acquired by Dentsu Aegis Network in 2016, with a full purchase of the business completed earlier this year.
Michael Komasinski, president of Merkle and chief executive of Dentsu’s customer experience management line of business in EMEA, said: “Warwick will bring together our strong UK analytics practice and enrich this with our strong regional capabilities to ensure consistency, quality and scale across EMEA.
“The Merkle Aquila business has doubled in size since joining Merkle, delivering market leading analytics to both Merkle and Dentsu clients.”
