US — Market research firm MRops has appointed Wander Meijer as global chief operating officer.
He joins MRops from mobile marketing company Brandtone where he held the position of CEO, Asia and was responsible for establishing offices in India, China and Indonesia.
In the newly created role, Meijer will be based in the company’s Hong Kong office and will have a strategic operational leadership role in all the company’s offices.
MRops CEO and founder Ian Kiernan said: “The addition of Wander provides us with expanded executive leadership across multiple geographies, strengthens our presence in the Asia Pacific market and also positions us to move into other growth markets, such as Latin America.”
