McDonald quits Firefly for Leading Edge role

Prior to Firefly, McDonald headed up the research team at the Financial Times in London. He was also a media board director at Ipsos and had a brief stint working for hospitality firm Whitbread.

McDonald will work alongside fellow managing partner Kate Parry at The Leading Edge, which was founded in Australia in 1990.

Parry said: “We are still a relatively young team in the UK. We are excited to have Simon on board and keen for him to help us continue to grow our business successfully.”

Leading Edge clients in the UK include KFC, Pizza Hut, Kellogg’s, Nokia and Bayer.
