US— Digital agency MartinJAY has acquired the intellectual assets, patent rights, source codes and associated domain names of analytics and social media management applications developer Social Blaze.
The Social Blaze application provides social media monitoring, engagement and analytic reporting to clients. The company was founded in 2009.
MartinJAY executive creative director Ken Stock said: “This acquisition not only enhances our ability to provide clients with the information and hard data they need to make meaningful connections with their customers via the social web, but this proprietary application also gives us the additional insight we need to create intelligent social strategies. And it gets us closer to answering the question that everyone is asking, ‘What’s the payout for social media?’”
Financial terms of the deal, which was completed this month, were not disclosed.
