US— MarketTools has promoted Lynn Christensen from vice president of engineering to chief development officer.
In her new role Christensen (pictured) will be responsible for software engineering, user experience, performance optimisation, quality assurance and customer support. She will report to CEO Scott Arnold.
Before joining MarketTools, she was vice president of corporate performance management, business intelligence and the governance risk and compliance suite of services at Oracle Corporation.
Previously, she had had spells leading software engineering teams at American Express and PeopleSoft.
Arnold said: “Lynn has a stellar track record of building and leading world-class technology organisations and instilling a culture of innovation. Her strong background in business intelligence, data warehousing and enterprise feedback management has already contributed a great deal to our technology-enabled research solutions, and will play an even greater role as we extend our product portfolio.”
