MarketSight appoints new CEO

US – Data analysis and visualisation solutions company MarketSight has appointed Chris Modzelewski as chief executive officer, as Michael DeNitto steps down.

Modzelewski founded web audience measurement provider Gemius S.A. in 1999. Following the company’s sale to private equity in 2008, he served as founder, board member, advisor and consultant to various technology, market research and media companies, including ChartSearch and Verto Analytics.

He takes up the role with immediate effect.

MarketSight was acquired by Reimagine in January 2017. John Almeida, managing partner at Reimagine, said: "We are thrilled to have Chris join MarketSight as CEO. His deep commercial and global expertise in the insights industry, and proven track record in leading and building technology businesses, are essential for MarketSight’s next phase of innovation and continued growth." 

DeNitto, who founded the company in 2006, has left the business.

Almeida said: "Michael founded and built an industry-leading company in MarketSight and has been a valued business partner to Reimagine."
