Marketing Sciences names Grout and Ablett as board directors

Andy joins Marketing Sciences from The Leading Edge where he was European head of quantitative research. He has over 25 years’ agency-side experience of quantitative and qualitative research across a wide range of countries, market sectors and clients. His previous roles include that of joint managing partner at JRA Research as well as board director at MMR Research Worldwide. He will work alongside the existing team to drive growth in FMCG – a key area of strength for Marketing Sciences.
Laura has been with Marketing Sciences since 1997, during which time she has successfully built up Marketing Sciences’ product testing and sensory capabilities. As research director, she has been particularly involved with delivering Marketing Sciences’ new state-of-the-art sensory testing lab in Kent and will continue to work on sensory research and new product development in her new role.
Jane Rudling, managing director at Marketing Sciences, said: “We’re very pleased to welcome both Andy and Laura to the board during a time of sustained growth. Andy is someone we have been very keen to work with. He is experienced, highly motivated, and has a track record of developing long-term client relationships.
