Marketing Management Analytics appoints ex-Nielsen duo

US— Ipsos-owned Marketing Management Analytics has appointed Phil Straub as SVP of analytics and Tom Stroud as VP of strategic accounts.

The pair will work at the firm’s Chicago office where they will be responsible for managing the company’s clients in the Midwest region.

Straub was previously vice president of research and development at Nielsen, and before that was president of Marketing Analytics Inc. He has also taught economics and statistics at university level.

Tom Stroud also joins from Nielsen where he held the role of vice president of advanced analytics following a spell leading client initiatives at The Cambridge Group.

MMA CEO Patrick Cummings said: “Paul and Tom have direct experience in applying advanced, predictive analytics but more importantly they understand and have experience solving the challenges our clients are facing every day. We are thrilled to have this extremely talented analytic consulting duo joining our team.”
