UK — Research consultancy TNS has appointed Doug Maclay as head of TNS’s qualitative practice in the Middle East.

Maclay joins from working as a qualitative consultant for brands including Kellogg’s, Masterfoods, Heineken and Hiscox, having previously founded UK-based qualitative research agency DRSM.

Maclay starts on 19 May and will be based in Dubai building TNS’s qualitative business in the Middle East, and lead the local qualitative team, reporting to Steve Hamilton-Clark, CEO Middle East & North Africa.

Hamilton-Clark said: “We are really lucky to have Doug joining the team. He brings with him a wealth of experience in the qualitative space, strong leadership skills and the ability to drive results.”
