US – Programmatic sample platform Lucid has appointed Andy Ellis to the newly created position of chief revenue officer and managing director, North America, as part of a series of promotions to and within its senior leadership.
Ellis (pictured), who has been chief operating officer at Lucid for the past three years, will now focus on working with the company’s customers and hand over his non-revenue operational responsibilities to Rick Rodgers, who has been promoted to chief operations officer.
Rodgers joined the company in 2015 as vice-president of operations before becoming senior vice-president of customer solutions. In his new role, he will oversee marketplace and platform operations and support, global monetisation, global operations, business automation and IT.
Nicole Patel, who joined Lucid in 2014 as senior vice-president of people, has been promoted to chief people officer, overseeing people, workplaces, and administration at a global level.
Rodgers and Patel will both join the executive leadership team and report to Patrick Comer, founder and chief executive of Lucid.
Comer said: “The promotions of Nicole and Rick demonstrate the exceptional work they have done at Lucid over the past few years. Nicole has been integral in creating and growing an outstanding people department which has facilitated the rapid growth of Lucid. Rick’s leadership and experience overseeing the marketplace product, in addition to our customer solutions, has allowed Lucid to continue offering best-in-class solutions to customers.”
The company has also appointed Ben Hogg, managing director of EMEA and APAC, as managing director, international. Hogg will now oversee all global expansion for the company and continues to be responsible for business development, sales, and revenue delivery in the EMEA and APAC markets.
