US/CANADA— Research software and services firm Cint has appointed Lindsay Veling as acting managing director of Cint USA.
Since last year the company’s US business has been headed by Kevin Umeh as CEO, but Umeh is no longer listed on the firm’s website. Representatives of Cint declined to comment further.
Veling worked with Research Now in the UK before joining Cint in May this year as a senior sales director. She will continue to be based in Toronto in her new role.
UPDATE 16.12.09
Cint has confirmed that Kevin Umeh no longer works for the company, and that it expects to appoint a permanent managing director for the US business in the second quarter of next year.

Wow, CINT continues to be the most active burner and churner of employees in the MR business. Great observation about Kevin Umeh. Seems very strange that the company is not commenting on the situation. I'm sure more details will come soon. Great work Research-live!
