AUSTRALIA – Digital data collection company Lightspeed has announced that it is opening an office in Bangkok, further expanding its presence in the Asia Pacific region.
The opening of an outpost in Thailand comes six months after the company expanded to Malaysia with an office in Kuala Lumpur.
Across the APAC region, Lightspeed now has offices in Sydney, Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, Singapore and Gurgaon (India).
Benchawan (Best) Phumphuengrsi, who joins the company from Philips, where she was key account manager across the consumer lifestyle business, has been appointed client development manager. She will manage local client relationships and operations across Thailand.
“Across our region, Lightspeed continues to be an influential leader; our new office in Bangkok affords us many possibilities in developing our existing and sourcing new client relationships,” said Martin Filz, chief executive officer, APAC at Lightspeed (pictured).
“With client-side experience and local market knowledge, Best is uniquely qualified to drive this new location and truly understand our clients across Thailand’s growing market.”
