US— Knowledge Networks has hired Chris Moessner to lead a new public affairs practice, based outside Washington DC.
The new division will target government agencies, public relations firms, not-for-profit organisations and trade associations.
Moessner (pictured) was previously president and senior consultant of Chris Moessner and Associates. He said: “Using market research to illustrate and support their messages is a powerful tool for public affairs firms. I am thrilled to have the high accuracy survey platform of KnowledgePanel to bring to this community, in conjunction with KN’s expertise in every aspect of the survey process.”
In the coming months more people will be joining the practice, which becomes part of the firm’s government and academic research unit. It is based in Alexandria, Virginia.
Executive vice president Mike Dennis said: “Chris and the rest of the KN team have the expertise to help PA firms make the most of these advantages to raise public awareness, shape important communications messages and move the needle on issues important to our clients.”
