UK – Manchester-based market intelligence and consumer research company Kids Insights has secured a six-figure investment from an angel investor.
Founded in March 2017 by Nick Richardson, the business works with brands including DC Thomson, Guinness World Records and Penguin Random House. Subscribers to the online portal service receive quarterly insight reports on young people’s attitudes and sentiments.
Kids Insights is part of market research and insights agency Bee Industrious.
The company secured the funding from angel investor Adam Kara at an event organised by the Business Growth Hub. Kara said the company has “the potential to scale fast” and “disrupt” the market insights sector.
The backing will help the company to scale the business in the UK and accelerate plans to expand the business internationally.
