US— Kantar Media Intelligence North America has appointed Jon Swallen as chief research officer, where he will initiatives around the development of digital research methodologies.
He was previously SVP of research at Kantar Media Intelligence. Swallen (pictured) joined the company in 2004 after working in the research teams at ad agencies Universal McCann and Ogilvy & Mather.
George Carens, Kantar Media Intelligence president, said: “Jon has been responsible for helping our clients to understand the strategies behind campaigns and providing unique insights into their impact. It is this ability, to go beyond ‘what’ and deliver ‘why’, that will enable us to continue our leadership as Jon develops new methodologies for analysing emerging media channels.”
