Jonathan Van-Tam joins Pulselight as adviser
Pulselight has developed data analytics tools that government and private sector organisations can use to support areas such as preventative health care and addressing health inequalities.
The appointment comes as US-based Pulselight looks to expand in the UK. Van-Tam will work with Pulselight to strengthen its offer and highlight its applications across various care settings.
Van-Tam was deputy chief medical officer to the UK government from 2017 to 2022, where he helped the UK respond to the pandemic. During his career, he has led health initiatives in partnership with the World Health Organization and Public Health England and has held various roles in the pharmaceutical industry. He is now an independent consultant in the biopharmaceutical sector.
Irene Manautou, founder and chief executive at Pulselight, said: “With his expertise at the intersection of government, healthcare and innovation, Sir Jonathan will help us demonstrate how Pulselight’s technology can play a central role in reducing waiting lists, improving patient outcomes and enabling a more efficient health system.”
