UK & SINGAPORE – Consumer insight agency Join the Dots has appointed Maria Spinelli as head of Asia, as Singapore managing director Karen Schofield is leaving the business.
Spinelli (pictured) who was managing director of System1 APAC until recently, will take on the role of head of Asia, responsible for growing the business across the region. Spinelli joined Brainjuicer (now System1 ) in 2013 as senior vice-president of Asia, and prior to that held roles at Millward Brown and Research International in Singapore.
Quentin Ashby, group chief executive at Join the Dots, said: “We have a flexible and innovative offer that’s well suited to Asian markets and Maria is the perfect fit to help our clients across the region take full advantage of our expertise.”
Schofield joined the company in 2007 and became founding managing director of the company’s Singapore office in 2016, working with clients including DirectAsia, F&N Foods and GSK. She will leave the business at the end of March to pursue other interests.
Ashby said: “It has been great to work with Karen over many years – she has played a key role in the growth of Join the Dots and the company’s international success to date. She leaves the Singapore business in good shape and we look forward to seeing what she does next.”
