John Lewis HR strategy head leaves to join Barnett Waddingham

UK – Peter Meyler, John Lewis Partnership’s HR strategy head, has been appointed as head of workplace consultancy at actuarial, administration and consultancy services provider Barnett Waddingham.

Meyler has held the role of HR metrics, analysis, insights and strategy manager at John Lewis for the last seven years. Prior to that he was head of employee research at Ipsos Mori.

At Barnett Waddingham, Meyler will lead a new team focused on workforce structure, comprised of experts in employee wellbeing strategies and people analytics.

Damian Stancombe, partner and head of Workplace Health and Wealth, said: "We are at the start of something new, but increasing regulatory pressure and the corporate’s desire to show transparency and strong governance will drive forward huge change in the consultancy arena. Peter Meyler is the catalyst for us to push forward with our vision to map out the workforce and evidence where we can add value in our independent consultancy.”
