UK— Peter Simpson, a co-founder of First Direct Bank, has joined forces with full-service creative agency Intermarketing Group to launch a new consumer insight and planning consultancy, Intervue.
The firm will serve as Intermarketing’s strategy and planning division. Simpson (pictured), will take the role of head of business strategy and will work alongside a team of digital, media and branding strategists, including Intermarketing’s MD Glenn Patterson.
“Too many organisations get bogged down in channels and products and are losing sight of what the customer wants,” said Simpson. “Intervue will focus on blending hard facts with customer insights, providing organisations with much needed clarity on how to attract and engage the right customers.”
Intervue’s first client was senior concessions business Oscar, where it helped the company conceive and develop an online business offering money-saving advice to over-50s.
