US — Insight Strategy Group has promoted Karen Van Vleet to the post of associate director and Annie Orenstein to the role of research manager, with immediate effect.
Van Vleet, who joined Insight in 2010 as an analyst before becoming a senior research manager, will continue to work closely with clients such as Bravo, Discovery Networks, MTV Networks and HGTV. Prior to joining Insight, she worked as an analyst at First Atlantic Capital where she was responsible for researching and analysing company data, industry and market trends and economic conditions.
Orenstein (pictured) joined Insight in 2011, also as an analyst. She has been responsible for data analysis and interpretation for clients including MTV, Comedy Central, Hasbro and Johnson & Johnson. Prior to Insight, Orenstein worked as an associate product developer for Horizon Group USA.
In her new position, she will conduct qualitative and quantitative research focusing on media trends and the millennial generation, client and vender management, and report writing.
Perry Baldwin, chief possibility officer at Insight Strategy Group, said: “The commitment and passion exhibited by both Karen and Annie is inspiring. They have played pivotal roles in the growth of our business and we know our clients can look forward to continued great work from them in the future.”
