US— New York-based Insight Research Group has changed its name to Insight Strategy Group.
Co-CEOs Boaz Mourad and Stacey Matthias said that the name change reflects the company’s identity as “a research-driven strategy firm” and its “expanding scope of services”.
Mourad (pictured) said: “While research will always be what we do, we have never been a traditional research company. We are a strategy firm grounded in research. This name change more accurately reflects who we are and what we deliver to our clients on a daily basis.”
A spokesman said that the decision to change the name was not related to the existence of another Insight Research Group, a healthcare specialist owned by Cello, or any confusion between the two companies.
